I have the same problem lol, but I'm sure my kids will figure something out. We have 7 different pullets, 1 keeper cockrel, and 8 silkies to name plus 9 meat birds and whatever packing peanuts come with the silkies. We wont be naming the meat birds or peanuts though, just the keepers.

Wife to my soul mate and Momma to 3 kiddo's + 1 dog + 1 cat + 24 chicks + 9 ducklings+ 4 more chicks coming June 4th  :).

I haver 3 each of Barred Rocks, Red Pullets, Brown Leghorns, Speckled Sussex,  Ameracaunnas,  EEs, BLRW, Buff Orps, Wellies and Delawares.2 Marans And then there are my adorable 5th Anniversary present, a trio of Silver Sebrights, which have already gifted me with eggs! Lost one of my girl...

I name mine based on color, personality, or I just pick names I like. www.babynamesworld.com has a great name by meaning search. My 4 RIR hens are Bertha, Cinnamon, Scarlett, and Ginger. I have a Delaware pullet (maybe) that my niece named Belle. My daughter named her partridge silkie Sophie.

1 daughter, 2 dogs, 4 Rhode Island Red hens, 3 white Leghorn pullets (2 cockerels), 1 light Sussex pullet, 1 silkie chick, 2 barnyard bantam chicks, and 3 Easter Egger chicks!

We don't name ours.  When we got into raising chickens it was for the eggs and fertilizer they produce.  We felt if we named them they would be like pets and harder to replace when they got older.  This year we will be doing our first thinning of the flock to replace some older birds with new chicks.  It is a little sad to see them go but not so bad as if we had named them.

If we were naming them we would use names like: Nugget, Extra Crispy, Kung Pao, Cordon Blu, etc...  Do you see a theme here?

1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 Gold Laced Wyandotte, 1 BLRW, 1 Columbian Wyandotte, 4 Rhode Island Red, 6 Easter Eggers, 3 Barred Rock, 3 Welsummer, 2 Buff Orpington, 2 White Leghorn, 2 Brown Leghorn, 3 Gold Sex Links, 2 Delaware, 1 Mixed Maran.    And a partridge in a pear tree... (just kidding on the partridge).
