A gal in my office shares with the rest of us the eggs her flock of chickens lay. Delicious! So about a year ago I started thinking about keeping chickens, eventually convinced my DH it was a good idea, and have been reading, reading, reading since then. We're finalizing plans for our first coop and run and I hope to get going on it SOON! We're avid gardeners, built our own shed and raised beds, and generally like doing stuff in the yard. Been puttzing (sp?) the same back yard for 20 years now. This is a great site, btw, and if I can only figure out how it all works (LOL) I'll be a happy camper! Any Idahoans or Boiseans out there?

I posted a longwinded description/question the other day about roofing our coop. It's simply Coop Roofs, and is in the coop design, building, maintenance section. Would one of you not so newbies take a look and give me feedback? Is it too long/complicated/non-sensical/whatever? And should I move it to another forum on BYC to get a response? How long does it usually take to get responses to a post? Thanks! :)
