Silver Cuckoo Marans sex question.

Ok, my birds are almost adults and everything I've read shows that the males are lighter (considerably) than the hens, (black with silver highlights) so the million dollar question is can Silver Cuckoo Maran hens also be lighter colored like the roosters?

I've got a few that I was certain they was roosters cause of the silver with black highlights, but the wattle and combs look small like a hens.

Some of the Roosters are no doubt they're roos from the huge combs and wattles.

Chicks and Chickens aren't nearly as fragile as you think.
Never name a critter you plan to eat one day, or let the kids know you named it.

I have read of that happening to someone here. I think I may have the opposite problem. I have a dark one that I suspect is a roo. (Though I tend to think everyone is a roo! tongue )
