Hey Gang! Whatcha think of my plans and Rooster issue? - Page 15

Very nice!  You will have some very spoiled, happy birds!  Very nice looking flock too.  All your posts inspired me to go and make a few changes out in my coop, one being to add a new window with hardware cloth to improve the ventilation.  I cleaned it out and decided I didn't like the airflow so I broke out the saw and started cutting windows.  I'll finish them and redo my flooring tomorrow, I decided to lay down sheet vinyl over the peel & stick squares I have down to improve the water proofing on the floor.  I'm also going to change how I hang the feed & water after looking at your pics.   That's one of the neat things about this board, you look at things and see where you can improve your own layout and get inspired to do it.

Good job!

A man's own kids and a man's own chickens: the only two things in the world that will get a grown man down on his belly to take a picture lol!
I'm joining a gang and getting a tattoo. Ok... I'm joining the Elks lodge. It's like a gang. And I was kidding about the tattoo.

Does it not just amaze you how they go from little fuzzy butts to pullets in just a few short weeks.

Your set-up is Awesome!thumbsup.gif Your chicks/pullets are adorable. Your son will love the Light Brahmas. That is what 3 of my new hatchlings are, feathered feet & all. I guess the black smudges on their back is from their Daddy. Can't wait to see what my cross breed chick will look like in a few weeks.

That is Little Lucy climbing all over Mama, she/he was the first one who hatched on Manday, and she also likes to peck at her Mama's eyes & face. She is a little stinker. wink.png
