I have Khaki's as well and I LOVE them! They ARE they best. Not sure how much to have to spend but metzerfarms.com sell them and ships day old chicks to you.

5 ducks; 2 Khaki's, 1 Rouen, 1 Magpie, 1 White and Fawn. 6 in my incubator DTH: 3-13-12. 12 eggs currently under my broody Momma DTH (approx): 3-17-12.

I came to check on this thread and would just like to say that I am getting some mallard ducklings tomorrow. my dad was considering to release some ducks at our pond so I told- well convinced really- him that we could release them when they grew up. I am so happy :) this is our pond in the winter:

Oh and we live in MD where we have mallards wild and we have a permit thingy for releasing them. They will do great. tons of plant life and fish to eat, no hunting, and they can fly away if they aren't happy :P
