I just wanted to stop buy and say Hi.

I am a farm girl while hubby is a cityboy.

But once I brought home a few poultry books home.

Off he was building a coop in our side yard.

Got a few chickens 8 for now all hens. 5 Diffrent

breeds. I must say I do have a thing for Frizzle feathers.

They are just getting back into laying again after coming

to their new home with us.

Went to our first poultry show last weekend, Just loved it!

Now I can't wait till the grandkids come to see the Nana's

and Poppa's chickens.

Welcome earthspinner! I am a fairly new member from Central CA too. This is a great community. I met a couple of really neat ladies from here in person at the Fresno show last week. Lots of fun and lots of helpful info.

Welcome, earthspinner! BYC is an awesome forum, great for research, great for community of like-minded people, and always there when you need to "go" somewhere to hang out and interact with extremely helpful folks.

Some of my friends are folks I've never met. Some of my BEST friends are folks on BYC which I HAVE met.

And the pictures of poultry owned by real people are frequently much more interesting than any magazine article about chickens (or ducks, or geese, or peafowl, etc.) - I LOVE looking at member photos!

BYC is where you come to learn something, to gain better understanding of something, and how to fix something ya did wrong when ya didn't check BYC first. big_smile.png

It is generally agreed that "Hello" is an appropriate greeting because if you entered a room and said "Goodbye," it could confuse a lot of people.

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?
