That is such a hot deal!  i may wander over to our Lowes and see if they have anything like that.  i need something bigger than the kid's playhouse we have for our geese now.  Looking forward to pictures after you figure out the window and ventilation thing.  :)

Yay! My neighbor came and helped me pry apart the pieces I did wrong.

We got the floor put together and one wall.

I'm going today to get some cinder blocks to put underneath for support. I guess I'll get some hardwire also for the vents and windows

YEA for good neighbors.

DH and I built him a new shed since I took his old one for the ladies.

It was a lot of work but well worth it in the end. Ours was a kit as well.

I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Awesome find by the way!

How many LARGE FOWL chickens can be comfortably housed in an 8x6ft coop with a 10x6 run?

From all I have read (new chicken guy) your coop would hold 12 birds (4 sqft/bird)  with a run 10x12 (10 sqft/bird)

Id you are not going to free-range them and your run can't be any bigger than 10x6, then because of the small size of the run, you would be able to keep 6 birds max

At least that's  what I have gathered ...
