 Hey all! We are kicking off our 2012  foaling season, with  Lacey our 32 inch black and white miniature  pinto mare. She is bred again to our 31 inch palomino pinto stallion, Cash. Hoping for  a repeat of last years homozygous filly!
Lacey is due 3/9 and is bagging nicely.I figure at this rate she should foal by about mid march!
Her water bucket is in the upper right hand of the screen. Usually I throw her hay in the front also.
Incredibly crazy this is laceys 5 th year on marestare!

Remember- Our barn our rules! We assist with EVERY foaling and kidding. We also keep the camera on unless the vet comes, then we turn it off. If you don’t like the way  we do things please remember you don’t have to watch!

When lacey foals, don’t be alarmed if she lays down a lot, as this is normal for her. She usually teaches her foals to nurse while she lays down.

i try to update as much as possible i also include  udder pics as her udder gets larger!

Lacey is out for the day, we usually bring her back in around 5 pm cam time! her bag is starting to fill in front of it now :)

thanks he is super refined. nice and correct. we waited a long time to find the right stallion! we have had him for 4 years now, and love him sooo much!

thanks! they are both miniature horses  :)

lacey is staying in today , she isnt close at all, but we are having 60 mile an hour winds and i would rather not leave her out
