I am going to post pictures of it when I get it finished. It was basically a nice wooden box when I got it, and it had 1 1/2 inch thick styro foam lining the inside. I covered the styro foam with strand board, and painted the strand board, and put 4 layers of sealer on the strand board. I am going to retire my fridge incubator, and go to this incubator. It can hold 2 little giant auto turners. I also have built 2 hatching trays for it. I am using 2 (75 watt) light bulbs for heating, and I am going to put 2 fans in the bottom. I have a nice door with a huge viewing window. I am also going to use a wafer thermostat.

It is wired like you would wire a cooler incubator, but instead I am using the wafer thermostat.

Foam tape for insulation.

Dude, you're so good at building incubators! Where'd u buy the foam tape at??? And how much is it for a small roll? My attempt #4 incubator isn't insulated very good. It gets to like 93* in it. Tops.

Do you know where to get a 12v light fixture/lightbulb at?

Haha, sorry for the 20 Q's, buti figure you'd know.

Does yourincubator stay constant throughout? It doesn't get a bit hotter toward your lights?

Thanks!!!
It is made JUST like my fridge incubator, but a bit fancier Ha ha.
1. I bought the foam tape at Ace hardware store.
2. I think I paid like 7-8 dollars for it (I didn't like spending that much for sticky sided foam, but I felt that it was needed) By the way, it sticks on GREAT.
3. I don't know where to buy that. I don't know why you would want that though.
4. I said that it was just like my fridge incubator, POSSIBLY BETTER. I haven't got to test it yet, but if it IS like my fridge incubator, then it will be a GOOD incubator.

I have a large crate that I could use, how did you insulate etc?

It was insulated with 1 1/2 inch styro foam when I got it.
I got a sheet of strand board, and covered the inside of the incubator with it. I used caulk and screws to fasten the small sheets of strand board to the inside walls.
After that I caulked ALL of the cracks. I then painted the inside. After painting it. I put 4 layers of sealer on top of the paint.

If you have any more questions, just ask.
