They will be your surprise babies!!!!

Miss Pretty was totally freaked out last night so I got her and let her take a long nap with me.  When I put her back in her box with the other little chicks, she fit right in and did great all night long.  Today she is snuggled up with them taking a nap.  I think this is probably the best $$$ I have ever spent.  My daughter likes the Ameraucanas and wishes we had gotten more.  Gosh, I had only wanted to do silkies, but now because of my silkie goof ups I have serama (too cute to get rid of) and Ameraucanas (already too cute to get rid of).  Is there really any ugly chicken????

I love those chickens. Everyone always oohs and ahhhs over blue eggs too. They are more flighty and loud then the other chickens, but since mine are so hand raised they are still sweet.  Its so funny, both our ee babies squat for me, but they are too flighty to stay still for you to come over and ruffle  them.

Mixed flocks rule!

I don't know about you, but the more I look at chickens, the more I want.  I would LOVE some bantam cochins, any color please!!!  I don't know about where other people live, but where I'm at it is hard to find people with bantams.  I'm not so much into the LF.  We have RIRs and those two roosters attack me at random moments.  Yesterday I walked by one of them to open the pop door and it bit the back of my leg   ep.gif  Maybe they do it just because they think it's funny to hear me screaming and start running around with the food bucket.
