I used a threaded male and female coupler and put an oring on each side no leaks!

Who knew this would be come an addiction!  I currently have 13 hens and 1 large light brahma rooster. We also have somelittle ones but as I have learned here they don't count.  I have started building coops to Sell.  I have come up with a company name Olde Tyme Coops hopefully it works out!

We created our outer run using cattle panel and created a fence using a piece of it. Needed a way to connect the fencing that gave us the ability to open and close and still be secure and last.

I came up with adding a tension spring as the connector so the panels could "hinge" and stay upright.

Mommy to BR (Onyx), 2 Delaware (Pearl & Opal), BO (Ruby), Blue Silkie (Amber), Splash Silkie (Raine), 2 Golden Laced Orps (Goldie & Lacey), 2 EE (Bunny & Rabbit) & 2 Blk Javas (Crow & Butterfly)!

Also a Pit/Mastiff mix, an American Bulldog, 1 cat, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and a koi pond.

Oh.. can't forget my daughter, granddaughter, step-son, and wonderful husband!

How difficult are those to get on the panel?

If you died tonight, where would you spend eternity?  Please think about it.

Info we all need to knowhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDDGl79x4Pc&feature=my_favorites&list=FLIvzTTPS3Bg-qsbs8VPh__Q

Not very hard at all. Think of a key ring. Just had to pry open the end, insert the two ends, and then twist it down.

Excellent solution and I wish I known of it years ago!  Thanks for including it here as I'm sure I can pass that along in the future and maybe even use it myself.

Thank you for sharing this! The timing is perfect as I am getting ready to put up some more temporary runs using panels and was wondering how I was going to do a gate easily. This fits the bill wonderfully.

I love this thread as I have incorporated several ideas from here in my pens. Thank you all for being generous with your ideas and solutions.
