I've designed chicken footwear made specifically to stop injuries that cause bumblefoot and other foot injuries from punctures.

Without pix.....it didn't happen.

This is my rain-water collection system under construction.. This will feed my nipple watering system inside the coop. I plan on having removeable couplings so I can take it apart for cleaning and such. So far in testing it catches alot of water and I have several screens for filtering debris out and the water looks great. I wll post more pics as updated. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated....

What is the roof made out of? If asphalt singles -- you might want to re-consider :)

It has those polycarbonate panels on it.... Works great and I rinse them every other week in the summer to keep em clean. I have 2 screen door screen "filters" between the gutter and water tank. You can see panels on top right side of pic.

Here are a couple of ideas brought to life:
A sand sifter for my brooders and poop tray. Scoop sand in and give it a couple of shakes and all that is left is poop to throw away.

Here is my two level brooder. We now use the top section for our Seramas at night and the bottom area is for chicks. Top section was originally patterned after something I saw on this website and I modified it with more plexi and a nipple watering system. The bottom section has been my best idea yet as it uses the under section that became a catch all before I built the rollout brooder.

My Wine fridge Incubator. 225 Watt incukit, 3 slide in out turners, remote fill water basins. Works great and am going to add another fan over the winter for more air movement.

This is my Serama tractor I built out of mostly left overs from my brooder, run and coop builds. They will stay in the garage in the top half of the brooder when it is colder out but they enjoy the fresh air now and it has been 60 degrees at night here lately. It turned out a little heavier than I had planned but it makes it hard to lift up in the air for predators.

This isn't an invention, but it works for me. I bought a cheap plastic basket at Walmart, to use as an egg carrier, but I didn't like the eggs rolling around in there. I cut part of an egg carton to fit in there, so the eggs won't be bouncing off each other as I carry them inside. I only get five per day, so this holds plenty for me.

Ha! I did the same thing to my egg basket!
