Love the 'roof'.  But what about raccoons crawling over?  Does it keep them out?

I imagine a little Apple Cider Vinegar would help to keep the algae down and be good for the chickens also.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me :) If you are...yes it does. But I have fencing around then the rope is tied to the fencing so it makes it very hard not to get tangled and fall (there are horizontal ropes running just above the fence). I have loads of wildlife around but never any tracks inside the run or coop. I just looked and I don't have a picture of that view but the pic below you can see some of the measures I've taken at the bottom. We had one of those metal screen rooms, well they break alot. I used ours to line the base of the fencing, and under it I used chicken wire. The metal is L shaped so it goes down to the bottom then out a bit.

Rodents probably get in but the coop is up off the ground. Now if I could keep the wild birds from eating the feed and chillin in the run, lol. They love it, safe and sound, lol.

Hope this helps!

These are our brooders we made out of cabinets left over from a kitchen remodel done last year. They work great!

I wanted a tumbling composter for my coop waste. I made this tall enough to fill from over the fence and tall enough to fit a wheel barrow under it.
