Thank you BeckyBird
,I only have to change her maybe every couple hours, more depending how much she eats. When she sleeps on the bed at night, she wears her overnight diaper that holds more & she is good for the whole night. I just take away her food & water & change her right before bed. She has an indoor house & when she is in there, she doesnt wear a diaper. During the day if she's in her house she gets to sleep on the bed at night. If she's out all day,she sleeps in her house.
It's really not too often she needs changing & it takes just a second. As for cost,I go to the Dollar Store & buy a pack of maxi pads. There's about 40 in the biggest pack & I cut them in half. If she's out running errands with me,I put a pad in the harness & I fold a few paper towels in half. To change it I just unhook, take out the top towel & toss it. Most times the rest are dry. If we're at the house I just use paper towels folded & save the pads for outings. Costs a buck & lasts almost 2 months, depending on how often we go out.
Even if it was more often though, it'd be worth it to me. The laughs I get from her personality alone are worth it. Edited by Scovy Momma - 7/4/12 at 4:26pm
