Show off your house ducks!

Lol, I hope that's it and this ain't her normal bathroom routine. When I'm in the hospital giving birth, its going to be a nightmare. The dh REFUSES to cleasn up their waste, ahh!!! What a nightmare

The sweet PDZ will help with the smell too. It is nontoxic. He can just keep adding papers and won't have to clean anything unless they spill water. Lots more papers. With only 2 ducks you will be able to go quite a few days maybe even over a week if necessary before having to roll it up. If you put the papers down you don't walk in it and can't see crap all over. Not perfect but should satisfy him if that's all he has to do. If you have another little one of yours I'd make sure to have a really good gate to keep animals and kids separate.

I would also consider a plastic container with a hole cut into the top for them to drink from. They will last a few days without a bath but they do need deep enough water to dip their heads and eyes. The hole keeps them from getting anything in but their head. And they can't poop in it.

Tell him that he's gonna have to get over that REAL quick. You're pregnant, after all. And having ducks means handling poop. That's just the way it is. I swear, men can be such babies...

I got a gf for JoJo my pekin yesterday, and i dont know what to do. She poops soooo much! Truly its disgusting! Shes farm raised. All she ever ate was duck feed snd cracked corn. I try to give her different foods some veggies, she wont try any of it. I could never put a diaper on her, with one poo she would destroy the diaper and it wouldnt hold her poo! I am not even joking! I have them in my entrance room, i work. I cant afford to change pet pads every few hours, im gonna get bugs, which i cant, i have babies!!! But im not a person who would ever get rid of an animal. I cant build a pen outside, im not allowed!!! ( dont ask) but I really need help, what? I don't know, I got to do something! Suggestions?!!!!!!!plz!!!!

I really don't think it will be that way forever. She's out of sorts from the move and she's never had the foods you're offering (don't forget I mentioned that would be likely at first). I think you'll see a significant change within a week. Just hang in there for now.

Here's my great-grandmother's recipe for fresh baked Call Duck! You will need:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5-6 tbsp whole milk
- pinch of salt
- round loaf pan (the smaller the better)
- 1 duck

Mix wet ingredients, add dry. Knead duck. Form into adorable duck loaf. Be sure to soak the feathers with the milk, otherwise it will not shrink enough while baking! Place into round pan; be sure duck fills it out for maximum roundness. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until quacks become noticeably higher-pitched. Allow to rest for ten minuets, then turn out from pan. Feed peas immediately.

I like this, but I'd have to add orange sauce! :D

duckies1230, when we adopted the Coffee Buffs, they did not know about peas or other treats - so they learned from the Runners. While we cannot know, I would hold out hope that a change in diet might help a little with the output.

She scarfed down mealworms as fast as JoJo finite, I'm so proud of her. She must have been eating them earlier bc I've noticed a difference already and all veggies were gone and JoJo never eats ALL of them that quick! I have hope...lol...

LOL. I'm wondering if she's like a duck we used to have that wouldn't eat if a human was watching but would eat just fine otherwise.
