Been reading for awhile, just never had anything of use to contribute I guess LOL!

My SLW Alice was getting feather-picked on her shoulders as well as her back, being lowest in flock rank at the time. I don't think she had a single feather left on her poor, little back. I made her a saddle with shoulders ruffles and it covered her back as well, as you can see. When I put it on her, she tolerated it amazingly well. However, when she emerged from the coop pop hole wearing her fancy, new get-up, all the others fled from her in abject fright at the apparition.900x600px-LL-36fdb800_45606_p1010020.jpeg

One matronly, yet regal, Light Brahma hen, two Silver-laced Wyandotte hens, two Gold-laced Wyandotte hens, one Black Cochin hen, three Ameraucana hens, one Buff Brahma hen, four sassy Speckled Sussex hens, one Buff Brahma roo, and one nineteen-year old cat who's scared of all of them, especially the roo.
