I was wondering mule as well.  The top of his beak looks like it's got those bumps.

My Cayugas (and Cayuga x Khaki Campbell mixes) all quack or have the drake raspy quack.

Does your duck actually have bumps on its beak and around the eyes?  I didn't see that in the picture.

Heritage breed chickens along with Black Copper Marans, 3 Cayugas, a crested Khaki Campbell-Cayuga, 2 Cayuga x Khaki Campbell-Cayugas, 2 Mallards, 2 Pekins, 3 Indian Runners, a Silver Appleyard, a Magpie, and 2 Sebastopol geese.

3 mini-Dachshunds (1 smooth red, 1 smooth black & tan silver dapple, and 1 long-haired black & tan silver dapple).

When you say bumps on his beak and around his nose you are referring to the caruncles of a Muscovy right? Cause I have 4 Muscovy ducks and actually there guys came from a Muscovy mom. Well that's what they were with when I bought them.
And to answer the bump question no they do not have them. I am hoping to get some closer pics today and post. My personal thought is that the mom is Muscovy and dad Cayuga. But I never even asked the man I bought them from if he had other ducks or what type they were.

the pic looks like it's got the nail on the end of the beak like a scovy also. I'd say Muscovy or hybrid (which would be a sterile mule)
