Poultry Breeding & Showing Class in Sonoma County CA - Page 6

So, will you let us know if you want any birds for Walt to show us stuff on?  I am local and can easily bring my Splash Marans roo/hen, or, something!

Cheers,

Dawn

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Hi Dawn,

Walt did ask for 4 LF, same sex, color & breed, to compare. I asked Cheryl to bring her SPs for that. He also said people could bring their birds for him to look at and give breeding suggestions.

Thanks,

Kim

I agree, Dawn, they are pretty. I am so envious of all of you that have these beautiful varieties. smile.png

It's going to be embarrassing to bring my, much less than perfect, utility breed to class, but I need help on how to get them true to type.

I still have several of my first hatchery birds, and love them as well!  I think my hatchery RIR is the best bird ever!  (Just not the prettiest!!)

Kim that is silly, most of my breeds are less than perfect, but that's the fun in it, getting them to be SOP, it's the journey I think

There are 20 people now signed up for the class, so there are still 10 spaces available.

If you are planning on donating toward the room rental and have not done so, please send that to me. I've received donations for 6 people so far, thanks. smile.png

Also, if you have not filled out the form with the questions, please let me know what you would like to learn in this workshop. I'm compiling a list for Walt.

If anybody knows someone who has connections with the fairgrounds in Petaluma, let me know. I'm trying to borrow some of their cages.

Thank you,

Kim

I'm sorry, too!  Life has been speeding by these past two weeks!  I'll get the form out in the mail to you tomorrow.  Is donating via PayPal an option?
