Thanks!  It works better for me if you just snail mail a check. I'm having problems with Paypal. The transfer from them to my bank account is taking way too long.

Karen, you are so generous. You don't need to send more. I just wanted to remind people that may have wanted to donate and had forgotten. It hasn't been that much effort. I'm so grateful to Walt for being willing to help us all.

Thanks,

Kim

ETA: My husband is in massage school & wants to come give free chair massages in the lobby, or even outside if the weather is nice.  Would anyone want one?

ETA again:  I can't get into the spreadsheet... was a decision made on potluck vs out to lunch?

Growing organic barley fodder for chickens & goats; in nestable plastic trays, cover barley with water & a squirt of bleach or ACV, for 2 days, drain, rinse 2x day, nest trays to day 3, then open to air, to chickens day 5, goats day 7.

Barley from www.azurestandard.com, ACV from Manzana Apple Products in Sebastopol

Grains like pressure from above for 3 days, as if they were buried.

Amommam...

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I sent an email to everyone who has signed up for the class, this morning. Please check your Inbox and reply to me privately.

As of today, there are 24 people signed up. That leaves 6 more spaces available for the workshop.

Thanks everyone!

Kim

Is there anyone going to this event that has duck eggs available, pure breeds only

Is anyone attending the class interested in doing a little egg swapping?  I thought we might be able to take advantage of being able to hand eggs off in person instead of taking the gamble of entrusting them to the Post Office.  There will be no selling in conjunction with the class, but we have permission to do our trading on the side with pickup/delivery occurring the day of the class.

Here is what I have to offer in pure breeds:

Blue Andalusians - Black Roosters over Blue, Black and Splash hens

Blue Cochins - All blue

Splash Sumatras - All splash

I also have some mixes for the adventurous:  Sumatra x EE and Sumatra x Cuckoo Maran (Sumatra roos over the hens)

If anyone is interested, just let me know.  I love to add new breeds and colors to the farm and am having too much fun with my incubators.

Jules

(I will be sending this to the email group as well so I apologize for many of you receiving this message twice.)
