If you really want me to try I will, but it's a big investment to ship eggs here, then buy the shipping box and pay shipping on live birds to you. There is a farm north of us with turkeys, and another BYc'r who is known for turkeys.

Celtic - so knowing the day of the sebs, down to sit time, should I still pip the sebs this afternoon, or wait?  If I pip exterior, don't I have to open it enough to pip the inside too?

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

Thank you! I have some pictures from when they were day-olds and I'll post them in a little bit. I have African Geese eggs in the bator and I just PM'ed the seller asking her what breeds she had because I forgot..

Marty, I just checked.  The farm has chocolate and refers generally to their turkeys as "old world breeds".

Steven, very cool!  I have african goslings a little older than yours... I love them!

Marty... if you go back to Pete's hatching guide... he shows you pics on how to pip a small external hole in air cell to "peek" inside without disturbing inner membrane.  If inner membrane looks good, then place in hatcher.  If it looks shrink wrapped.......... that's another story.

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).
