Will this cause egg binding?

My ladies couldn't get to the nesting boxes today and after searching their pen, there was no sign of any eggs. I usually get 5-7 a day. If they couldn't get to their nest, will they become egg bound from holding it in? I'm really petrified right now that something horrible is going to happen because of this.
 
I wouldn't think so. They will lay wherever they are if they have to. I wonder if you just didn't find where they laid. Also, a stressor can cause them to stop for a while; they ust start up again when they're ready.
