Does anyone know for sure if this is the hens organs? I'm so sorry for your hen and your loss. I can't stand to see one of mine hurting.
I found this in a nesting box several days ago. Looks like 'lash' but also looks just like an ovary to me! The next day I noticed one of my white Americauna hens sickly and she had a mild prolapse so I treated that daily but she was dead this morning.
