Thanks Danny. I love em. Im guessing you havent kept any in a long time and you dont keep any magellans or other shelgeese at the present time. Me or Kansaskid can put you in touch with who I got mine from if you want to get back into keeping some. Im such a bird enabler.lol! I found somebody that will test for me here(west nile anyway) if any sadly but mysteriously die. I let the mom do the whole deal last time. Dont know if I mentioned it here but only had one gosling anyway the other six or seven eggs were not fertille. This time I took the first three eggs she laid and put them in a bator and she is may be starting to set on these six I believe.

Update' Only one egg in the bator that was fertile. She is sitting on the others. Havent candled them to see if they are fertile.May do it tonight or when I can catch her off the nest.

Thanks. The one in the bator was still born .But went outside this morning and lo and behold, gosling in the pen.! But only one again this time as well. Oh well, one is better than none I guess.
