Building a coop for my Grandma "UPDATED"

Thread Starter

A couple months ago my Grandpa passed, and since then my Grandma has been dealing with it by keeping herself busy. Since she really liked my chickens, especially the roosters. So I figured I would build her a coop and get her a few chickens of her own, she knows I am building her one I just hope she likes it.. Everything except the 2x4's are reclaimed wood from other projects around the house. Here is what I have so far:

Will post more pics hen done. I hope I can find some people to help me move it when finished because it is not very light.

It looks good. It looks like a miniature barn. You should paint it barn red.

That is nice of you to build a chicken coop for your grandmother. What type of chickens are you going to give her with the coop?

It looks wonderful!  Very thoughtful of you to think of such a great way to support your Grandmother during a sad time in her life.
