Take a look at http://www.shopmedvet.com/category/index.php for syringes. They have some listed for Vet use only, however, some of the "closeout" syringes are cheaper and for human use also.
Syringe 3cc 21g x 1", luer lock, 100/bx SN0032110 $5.00 - for a box of 100

The 1cc Insulin/TB syringes are great for measuring chicken size doses, but the needles are usually too small to draw the meds out of the bottle. Stay away from the 28ga and smaller. Just too small. The 25ga with a short needle (1/2-5/8") will draw in liquid drop by drop. May take a full minute to draw out the dose.
My solution, get this 1cc syringe with the small needle and a second set of larger needles
Vet-Syringe vet use T.B. Syringe & Needle 1cc 25x5/8 T.B. 100/bx 1CC25X5/8VS $6.99
Med-Vet Polyhub Needles 20x1 100/bx MVN20X1 $3.99
Pop off the needle and use the larger needle to draw out the meds. You can go back to the smaller needle for injecting the bird. With shipping, about $21 -- or .21 each.
In a pinch, I've gone to a local Pharmacy and picked up a pack of 10 Insulin needles for $5, but the needle is just too small.
