Strangest Dog Breed Mix You've Seen - Page 3

I haven't seen but what do your think a cocker spaneil  and a poodle mix would look like they could call it a cockadoodle

or a Bull Terrier and a  Shih tzu ( SHtz zoo)  call it a bull shtz

OK so I am trying to be funny here but you have to admit it would be good combo of both breeds and unusual looking.

Yeah, just do a search for "cockapoo" and you'll get literally thousands of images of cocker spaniel/poodle mixes.  Most of them just look like really poorly bred cocker spaniels (although a lot depends on what kind of cut they have).  And honestly, I haven't liked the personality/temperament of any of the ones I've had to work with at all.

My grandma had a cockapoo 30 years ago when I was a little kid. They've been around for a long long time! ;)

Wendy, chemist, mama to 4 human children, a crazy Husky/Australian Shepherd cross dog, a cat, several fish, bunnies, 17 goats, and our ever growing flock of chickens, ducks, turkeys, and geese.

My oldest son is breeding BBS Orps! Looking for breeding stock!

Well, my best friend has a Labradane (Labrador x Great Dane), and (not trying to start a debate or anything, this is just my opinion) I have no idea how anyone could think that was a good idea!  It was like all of the hyperness and chewing ability of a Lab puppy only about three times the size!

I think my 9-year-old dog Dan is a pretty strange mix, too.  I think he is Corgi x Basset or Beagle or something.  We call him Lieutenant Dan because "he ain't got no legs" lol.png

Didn't see the pups myself, but overheard a guy in TSC asking if anyone wasi nterested in his puppies:

Cane Corso sire and border collie dam.

Those must have been some "interesting" mutts

One of the vets I worked for had a great dane X basset. She was so cute. She looked just like a dane except she had longer ears and basset legs. lol.png

Proud mom of 2 boston terriers, 2 elderly cats, a few silkies, 8 EE's, 2 nigerion dwarf goats,  1 beautiful 8 year old little girl, a beautiful 3 year old little boy, and anything else that comes our way. Married to a wonderful DH that helps and puts up with it all!

I just love Basset mixes... I may have stated that already, lol!

If you want to see some interesting mixes, go to

 www.dogbreedinfo.com/.

You can click on "hybrids" and it will show you a gazillion different mixes. Quite interesting, really. I don't condone breeding mixes for the sake of breeding, but some of the mixes on there are pretty cute. Of course, I'm partial to mutts, anyway. smile.png
