seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

And nothing. I have the temp right the whole time. Humidity was right where it was to be too.

Starting to think it is me LOL. There isa dozen and I listen to hubby and never candled them.

With the last batch I knew the issue this time I can't figure out why not even one is starting to pip...

I think so. I never candled them like normal.

ok but have you candled once they're past the point of hatching? Or done an egg-topsy to see if they are developing up to a certain point and then dying?

I'd rather be chickening...

I haven't done anything yet. Trying to hold out hope for late hatchers. Most are dark brown so not sure I will be able to candle well. I was thinking about maybe egg-topsy laster this week to see. How late can they hatch, or well how long should I hold out hope for?

I don't usually let mine go longer than 24 days, especially if there's no movement (egg rocking, etc) because I don't want an egg to explode and contaminate my entire incubator and stink up my house.

I've candled Black Copper Marans eggs before, just have to take it to a very dark room to see anything.

I'd rather be chickening...
