chicken poo's that are bright green?

my birds have normal solid poo's but noticed the other day that they were bright green. Its New England and winter- Nothing in their diet has been green...they have a flock block...and havent had treats other than oatmeal and rice, maybe some lettuce but its never turned their poo's green before....just making sure they don't have any contageous pathogens as I ordered some spring chicks and don't want any issues...

what does the color bright green indicate?

4 rescued herding mixes, 2 rescued kitties, bantam cochins and one roo- with an assortment of spring chicks on the way! Not to mention a wonderful soon to be husband that loves to BUILD!!! Lucky me!

Have you by chance fed them red cabbage? I do, and it turns their poop this wild florescent green.
