What is Sharing?

Every few days I give the flock some corn as a treat and for enrichment. With nothing growing, it gives them a chance to scratch around in the (dead) grass and snow. Apparently, one of my girls decided she was to get the lion's share!

 

"Oh hallo, o great bearer of foods!"

"What? You want MOI to share?! No way!"

And so shooed her off the deck railing and shared with the flock. She then activated her camouflage abilities.

My hen Gloria does that too... she will run around and try to hoard all the food.... then she'll get tired and give up and just give all the hens her famous 'Gloria eye' as they eat HER food.  lol.png

Sounds like Gloria tries SO hard to keep everything to herself, poor girl!

lol.png  There's always a hog in the flock.  I love her cloaking ability!

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

 

 

Stan the Man will be missed.

I love that hen! She's so cute and purdy, and I love those colors!

The rest of the flock looks a little put-off at her antics!

One last Runner-cross duck, 1 WCB Polish, 3 Barred Rocks, 3 bantam buff Brahmas, 1, Sultan hen, 2 chillaxed horses, 1 bossy mare, 2 crazy dogs, 2 ever-shedding kitties, 1 adorable rabbit, and 2 amusing dorm fish.

 

I miss you already, Shanaynay. You were the sweetest bird with many fans who miss you as well.

Thanks!

 

I have to say, she is my favorite. She is a very sweet girl. And I love her cuckoo coloring too! It is hard to see in the pictures, but she has a tiny pair of tufts, one on each side of her face. So she is a nice little tufted and rumpless girl!
