i tryed to pull them off with tweezers like ya said but there are hundreds of them on their faces...

the big problem is that i want to move them into a new coop and pin but i need these bugs off before i can move them..

thank you so much for the help...if it not to much trouble id like to talk with you more about the dog and how you delt with them.

send me a message please

fleas spent 90% of their time off of the host so treat the environment too. While they are in the egg stage they are resistant to insecticide, so you will have to bomb the environment several times. Good Luck!

I  would definitely try the DE. I am a 1st yr "chicken mama" but i swear by the stuff! I sprinkle it in the coop and on their roosts and never had a single bug all summer. I even sprinkle it in our outdoor cats' food as a de-wormer.I don't use any pesticides as our property is 100% organic and DE is a safe option.Good luck!
