how much room for geese?

I am still in the planning phase of the whole thing.Earliest that i caould get geese would be next year. How much room do i need for them for overnight?  How many geese you sleep in a 4x6 or 6x8 (got plans for both) ? What to use for nest , just like chicken but larger, or do i just throw some tires down and fill them with bedding and straw for them to lay? We prob. settle for Embdens or any whitish meat breeds.

Lots of straw will make them happy over night. A gander and 2 geese in a 4x6 would be comfortable. Take a barrel and cut in half, lay on its side stuff with straw, they think they are in nest heaven. Or just fill the house with lots of straw and have an egg hunt when they lay if you wish to collect them. I use a child's leaf rake to move hay/straw around when looking for eggs.

celticoaksfarm-I'm also getting ready for my first geese and want to thank you for the nesting suggestion! I see you have a Pyr!  Does he/she guard your birds?
