What breed is this pretty girl?

She's a pretty barnyard mix.  You could get away with calling her an EE, with those slate legs and coloration, but really she's got a slurry of birds in her ancestry.

She's an Easter Egger - mutt bird with blue-egger heritage.

She looks like this Welsummer :

But she has some lovely lacing all through her feathers which is lovely and kinda reminds me of a Double-Laced Barnevelder.wee.gif

She is most definitely NOT a welsummer.

 

She's a mix, likely an EE mix.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

 

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

Thanks everyone. I thought she was an EE when I got her. But she lays brown eggs. Oh well, she's sweet and pretty.smile.png And I'm glad to know I wasn't too far off with my guess of EE...
