I see this is an old post but I will reply anyway, I use it simply to help dry a wooden coop floor,,,,but I also use it in my own house, it is an old house and no matter how well things are kept cleaned up I get ants every year, i sprinkle this along the cracks in the back of the counter and the ants are gone in about 2 days.....I also gave some to a friend who moved to a new apartment and suddenly had roaches, after a couple of treatments she was roach free.... My point is even if you find it doesn't work in your coop it still has many other uses...
