THe only thing that's throwing me off is the comb color. A silkie should have a black comb. I suppose it could just be a very poor quality silkie, it has 5 toes and feathered feet so I dunno hmm.png

It is from a hatchery, so I'm sure whatever it is, it's poor quality.

 

Once it feathers out a little more, we'll know for sure if it's a Silkie or not (so that's a plus)!

it's a mutt silkie, another rooster jumped the fence.

The difference between pets and pests is only on which side of the fence they're standing... keep your animals in your own property.

Silkies don't just have purplish combs, their skin is black. I vote for Sultans.

I'm thinking Sultan too, but I'm not very familiar with the breed.

I was just about to say maybe Sultan?

Bantam Red Cochins, Mille Fluer D'Uccle, Free ranging guineas - Pearl, Pied, Buff, Violet, Lavender.  One RIR hen and one Black Australorp hen (Henny) who is a spoiled rotten pet.  Variety of Maran babies.  One great husband, three kids, and two dogs.  I'm a chick-a-holic so I have an ever changing number of feather kids.

I think I may have one too my mystery chick looks just like yours did, I have 2 silkies so i know it's not a silkie because it doesn' t have black skin or legs and it's has to many toes to be a polish
