"This is StreamClan's forest!" She growled, unsheathing her claws. What am I going to do? She fought back panic, I can't fight them! I'll just keep them talking until someone notices we're taking longer then usual! "Go crawl back to your dens you mangy crow-food eaters!"

(lol, yeah)

"No thanks, fishface." Phoenixwing sneered.

"Thornclaw and Sparrowtail will send you screeching back to your dens when they find out!" She hissed, naming her father and the Clan deputy. Keep talking!

"I'm so terrified!" Phoenixwing said mockingly, unsheathing his claws.

"You should be!" She spat, her whiskers trembling.

Back at camp, Foxpaw and Ashstorm were waiting by the camp entrance. "Where are they?" Foxpaw asked, worried for his sister.

"I don't know, but Hawkfeather's with her. They should be back soon."

A sly grin grew across Phoenixwing's face. "I smell fear," he whispered, inching ever-so-slowly towards her, "and it ain't coming from me, or Stormstar or Talonfoot."

Snowpaw forced herself not to move, this was her territory! Her heart thudded painfully against her ribs and growled at them, trying to stop her legs from shaking.

"I'd get out of here, apprentice," He spat the last word, "Or you'll be taking a trip to the Place of No Stars."

Snowpaw didn't reply, she didn't know what the Place of No Stars was. Instead, she increased her growling, hoping it would hide her hammering heart and fear scent.

"I guess someone wants to die." He laughed like a hyena, rising to his paws. He towered over her, his claws clicking as he slowly inched towards her.
