Rowenclaw and Ryewhisker were hunting nearby and heard the yowl, emerging from the trees near the border to see what was going on. Rowenclaw's ears flattened against his head when he saw Skystar and Ryewhisker's fur bristled "What do you want?"

"Before Drake started "YOLO", did ya'll think you could live twice or...?"

Hawkfeather glared at him for a moment, then sighed and trudged over to the medicine cat's den. This was probably one thing she never missed from being in a clan, but the joy of being in one out weighed her annoyance.

Brambleberry was inside, rumaging around her herb store. On her way out, she nearly crashed into Hawkfeather. "Hawkfeather!" She exclaimed "Didn't see you there, what can I do for you?"

"Whoever told you that, told you right." She replied, padding back into her den and returning with several marigold leaves. She chewed them up into a pulp and gently massaged them into Hawkfeather's wounds. "There, that should keep out any infections. I want to see you back here tomorrow though so I can make sure they are healing properly"

 

"Brambleberry!" Sandpaw's voice panted as she ran up "I think Cherrytail's kits are coming!"

 

Brambleberry nodded quickly and disappeared back into her den with the leftover marigold leaves. Moments later she was sprinting after Sandpaw towards the nursery with a mouthful of borage leaves.
