"Your cough has turned to whitecough" Brambleberry said quietly so that no passing cats could hear. "Thrushpelt has it aswell, and Foxkit has a cold. I'd like you to stay here until you are better, we can't have it spreading."

Hawkfeather sighed. This was one of the worst bouts of an illness she'd had in a long time. She felt useless now and flopped down, tail twitching in irritation.

Meanwhile in MistClan....

"Featherpaw, Lightpaw, Littlepaw." Brightstar called the apprentices to her side.

"Yes, Brightstar?" They answered.

"I want you to go to your mentors at the training grounds. It it time for your final test." She smiled.

"Yes, Brightstar!" They cheered happily and raced to he training grounds.

"Very good." Brightstar smiled, "You will receive your warrior names tonight at moonhigh."

"Thank you, Brightstar!!" They smiled before racing off to tell their friends.

Icestar and Sparrowtail were speaking in hushed tones near Icestar's den "Thrushpelt and Hawkfeather have whitecough and Foxkit has a cold, though Brambleberry said it could very quickly turn to whitecough, or even greencough" Sparrowtail said to Icestar.

Icestar's voice was troubled as she replied "Shadepelt and Willowpaw were coughing during their training session yesterday"

As if to exaggerate their worried meows, Thornclaw sneezed as he approached the freshkill pile.

"With less cats to hunt, and more cats to feed..." Icestar's voice trailed off.

Sparrowtail didn't say anything in reply, he didn't need to. With less cats to hunt and more cats to feed, the unsick cats would have to work harder, and potentially catch the deadly disease aswell.

We welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." Brightstar touched the warrior's head, and he licked her shoulder in respect before going to sit with the warriors.

Brightstar turned to Lightpaw, "Lightpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." 

Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Lightpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as LightBreeze. StarClan honors your loyalty and determination. We welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." She touched LightBreeze's head, and she (LightBreeze) licked Brightstar's shoulder before going to sit with the other warriors.

Brightstar turned to Littlepaw, "Littlepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Littlepaw, from this moment on, you will be known as LittleStorm. StarClan honors your loyalty and determination. We welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." She touched LittleStorm's head, and LittleStorm licked Brightstar's shoulder before going to sit with the other warriors.

"FeatherStreak! LightBreeze! LittleStorm!" The clan chanted.

I'd like to make another cat while Hawkfeather is sick and can't really do much.:

Name: Crookedtail

Gender: Tom

Appearence: Light yellowish-cream tabby with cold grayish-blue eyes and a crooked tail that curls in a semi-wide circle around his body.

Attitude/Personality: Cold, merciless and bad-tempered. Is ambitious for power and will kill to get what he wants.

Rank: Deputy in StormClan(if still open, otherwise warrior in StormClan. Already existing in Clan please.)

(By the way, Crookedtail was a real cat that was merciless towards some of our other cats. And yes, we did call him Crookedtail. )

Wanna join MistClan?  It gets kinda boring with just me...

haha, I thought of Crookedstar as soon as I read your post :P
