Icestar padded through the trees, her Clan following silently behind. Redpaw, Willowpaw and Sorrelpaw were whispering excitedly to each other at the prospect of attending their first gathering and Sparrowtail told them sternly to be quiet.

StreamClan arrived first and settled in the clearing around the tree. Icestar stayed in the clearing with her Clan instead of taking her place on the Great Oak. Silverstream and Sparrowtail walked over to her and shared a few words briefly.

Brightstar led her Clan to the Gathering. They made absolutely no noise, not even the new apprentices.

"When do you think the other Clans will arrive?" Redpaw whispered to Sorrelpaw. The young she-cat shrugged "Soon, I hope. I can't wait for the Gathering to start!"

"Have patience," A deep voice meowed from behind them.

The three apprentices spun around to face Sunfur, their tails twitching excitedly "What do you think the meeting will be about?" Willowpaw asked.

"I don't know, but remember this." He leaned closer to them "Listen, but say little that could be used against our Clan. There is much to be learned at these Gatherings." With that said, he padded away to join Thornclaw and his sister, Shadepelt.

"What do you think's eating them?" Shadepelt muttered to Sunfur as she watched the EagleClan cats file into the clearing "You'd think they'd be a bit friendlier since we saved the butts only a few moons ago!"

Sunfur gave a slight nod in agreement, his tail twitching.
 

MistClan arrived. Their expressions were guarded and hard as stone. Their eyes were unreadable. They spoke to no one. Brightstar took her place on the Great Oak, only dipping her head in greeting o Skystar.
