For the second time, my daughter broke the Thermos bottle and I will not be buying anymore of that fragile mirror like container that goes into the Thermos soup container. It was to keep her heated foods HOT and cold foods cold.

Is there anything else I can use that would do such a good job? I thought about spraying foam inside of the cavity but I know the bottom lid is screwed on but eventually it probably would mold.

Broken syrofoam pieces?

What you all suggest to do?

Wow, I didn't know that they even still made that stuff in Thermos bottles any more. I used to break mine all the time when I was a little girl 40 YEARS AGO! There should be something that doesn't break. Maybe get a child's lunchbox, and use the thermos in it? They can't be using that for kid's stuff.

Check out Tervis.com. I tried to post a link but it wouldn't let me for some reason.

These cups are insulated in a way that keeps hot things hot, cold things cold, and come with a lifetime warranty. You can custom make your own, too.

My husband told me about them because he has a couple of guys at work who have them. One guy said he put hot coffee in his, and four hours later the coffee was still hot, even though he didn't even have a lid on it. Also, he put a cold drink in it with ice, and nearly four hours later the ice hadn't even melted.

I'm going to order one myself and maybe even get some for friends...They're a little pricey, but not bad considering they claim to be break-proof and come with a warranty.
