Hello from Florida !!

My name is Lisa. I live in Florida. I found the Backyard Chickens website quite awhile ago. We just got approved to have chickens in my city--so I am SOOOO EXCITED !!!!!!!!!!           jumpy.gif         I thought I wanted to get Buff Orpingtons, but today I held a Silkie & now I am not so sure. I can only have 4 total & would like to start out with 2-3. Also, I still have to convince my hubby--he knows that eventually we will get some, but it just isn't going to be soon enough for me.....

 I have 4 kids ,4 dachshunds, a Jack Russell & an African grey---sort of" Dr. Doolittle's house"--LOL ---the more -the merrier !!

 I really love this website & the forums--a wealth of info !!!!!!!!!!!

 Hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

 

 

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

 

 

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

 

 

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????
