Do you think it's the colours of the toy-fish that he's offended by? Maybe he's concerned that the hens will find the bright colours in the toy-fish more attractive than his own lovely feathers.

I don't have any hens (he's an "only child" tongue.png). Sometimes wild hens come in my yard, and I pick up my rooster and go take him out and put him near the hens, maybe 5 feet away, but he seems to have no interest in them.

Actually Ibeier2000, I've heard differently. Scientific research has revealed that chickens are not colour blind and actually have superior colour vision to humans. Please see the link below for a short article on the subject:

I guess you are his one and only girl! That certainly explains a lot about the colourful fishy - it's competition that has to be stomped out. wink.png

 

That video is so cute, I just had to share it with my friends. We all had a good laugh! Thanks again for sharing it with us and give him a big kiss and cuddle from me. He's gorgeous with an attitude to boot!
