Anyone odering or have ordered ducklings for this spring?

I just put the finishing touches on my order for ducklings from Sand Hill Preservation Center in Iowa! I ordered Buff, Grey, and Khaki Runner ducklings! I then have 7 cayuga duck, 4 call, and 2 cochin chicken eggs in the bator. Soooo whats everyone else getting? :o)

Chickens - (Naked Necks, Easter Eggers, Ameraucanas, D'uccles, and others.)
Call Ducks - (Blue Bibbeds, Greys, Chocolates, Whites, Silvers, and Butterscotches.)

Guineas - (Pearl Greys and Royal Purples.)

Hoohoo.

Im backed here! I ordered 6 TSQ welsh harlequin ducklings from holderrwads, along with 1 runner, (blue). And 3 silkie ducklings!

And I have 8 SQ line welsh harlequin duck eggs, 1 ancona duck egg, 5 RIR chicken eggs, and 3 pilrlgrim geese eggs in the incubator. Also 1 fawn and white runner duckling, and 1 cayuga duckling in my brooder. And hatching lots more of chickens and ducks this year (spring through fall) th.gif

Is that all? Yes, thats all lau.gif

I might be geting some choc runners this spring though. Gonna try to make lavender runners love.gif

Thats a bunch of poop! wink.png Bad news on incubator eggs.. the water reservoir overfilled and went into the fuse box for the turner and it burnt out. The turners light on the front has been flashing for the past 2 days and I didn't think about it looked in the manual to find out why and sure enough it was burnt. Replaced it and had to dry it out first! Sure enough it works again! I'm praying their still alive!

well "technically" we didn't order any but my Muscovy hens are brooding a whole nest of eggs.. so this should be interesting. hide.gif
