What gender is this Blue Orpington?

It is about 22 weeks old and has been in with a rooster for at least the last month.  They co-habit fine and it doesn't hardly ever make a peep.  I also have never seen it in the nesting box.  It's tail feathers really boggle me as they don't look like the other Blue Orpington pullets I have in the same coop and the same age.  It is also GIGANTIC!  It now stands taller than my 9 month old Birchen Marans rooster and also weighs more.

Any ideas if it is male or female???

So how come my dominant rooster doesn't care about him?  Wouldn't the saddle feathers be darker by now?  Also, is it odd that he doesn't even make an attempt to crow at all by now?

He isn't crowing because the other rooster is dominant and he doesn't want a thumping. smile.png As long as he doesn't crow or show out, the dominant roo will probably leave him alone. They  may have to fight it out one day, though.

What  handsome cockerel! 100% Male. Look at the tail feathers, the tail itself is small but the feather are VERY curved. Also those giant wattles and massive comb say it all. He's not crowing because he doesn't want to be attacked by the dominant roo.
