I really like it.  The only comment made about it that I would disagree with is I like the color it is now!

yea i do to until i get close to it then i see the marks the lumber yard got on it and i start thinking about painting it....maybe red with yellow poke-a-dotsep.gifgig.gif

I don't know if this is just me but I think I was more excited for my chicks to hatch than my duck and I don't know why. Maybe because I already know what they will look like or what and chicks are all different than ducklings.

Well, some of it is not just you.  I don't get very excited over hatching chicks either.  The first time I hatched I was glued to the incubator day and night and couldn't drag myself away.  Now, by the time I go look in the incubator it's like oh, one hatched.  I think I've killed so many it's taken the fun out      idunno.gif

B J Hopkins, is that a bantam Ameraucana you have there or large fowl?

Adorable chicks.  I just hatched my first ever bantam cochin.  It's tiny.  The silkie hatched first and it's in there picking on that poor little fellar!
