Very "SHARP" Nail!!

What do you do if you handle your birds daily or more with the very sharp nails? I am around the girls way more than most and do handle the girls a lot, and get raked by their nails at times. Is there anyone or a way to dull them? Do any of you cut the girls nails? I have had inside birds I have done this with but I have never thought about it until yesterday when Lacy raked my let frightened by something. I only have 10 kids, no biggie to trim if need be but how about your ideas or suggestions? Are there better ideas in doing this?
