Edited - small cockerel sold, picture of him removed. Photos are of the available cockerel - will try to get new ones in the next day or two.

 

I have two blue Sumatra cockerels for sale. They were hatched Aug 23rd, 2011. Both have multiple spurs coming in (a minimum of 3 per leg) and both have good dark faces for a blue, which will improve even more once the sunny season gets underway.

 

Photos were taken at 4-5 months of age, so they have grown. These birds are very slow to mature, and you will see a very different bird at one year than you do at 6 months, as far as feather length and size.

 

These birds are people-friendly and have been friendly with younger juveniles as well as older hens. They are Sumatra, though, and are great fliers.

 

Price is $50. Shipping is $65, local pickup is available as well (Cookeville, TN - Albany KY area). Trades considered for local parties.

Here are some photos I took tonight in the barn. He was half asleep and not exactly cooperative about posing in an alert fashion, but you can see the spur nubs and his color better. He has exactly 3 spurs on each leg that are growing.

They are at a really good price because here in Puerto Rico they cost hundreds of dollars!!
I have a blue sumatra it cost me $150.00 is areally good invertion if you gonna reproduce it they look really good!!
