I didnt see them this morning but didnt think much of it cause they often hide down the hill in the bushes. The new neighbors only come on certain days so I havent seen them since the ducks went missing. I will definitely ask if they saw where they went next time they come out.

Since the ducks are friendly you don't think they may have taken them?

when the neighbors have been out there before, they showed no interest in the ducks. They pretty much ignored them except when they all went fishing (in an empty pond). The ducks didnt walk up to them or anything so I doubt that could be the case. The ducks dont even come to me on their own until I call them.

Went to the next street, didnt see em. THis is the first time theyve been gone since they got here. Wrote the neighbors a  note, left it on their deck. Hopefully they will let me know if they saw where they went. fl.gif

Thats really sad, Have you ever seen them fly?  if they can fly they have a much better chance of making it. If they walked off I don't think they would have much of a chance.  I hope you hear from your neighbors soon.  fl.gif

Ive never seen them fly.. Usuallly when they come see me, even if Im all the way across the field, they just waddle their way over. This is terrible.. I really hope they make it back.

I know you must be worried sick. is their other bodies of water close by that they could have gone to with out much trouble. I can't imagine ducks walking far.

Thats the thing. Ive checked all the ponds nearby and the creek. Maybe I missed them but I doubt it. I may call one of my neighbors and have her contact everyone with a  pond (we have a very vocal neighborhood and it wont take long for the news to get out.)
