Chick not walking?

I got a few chicks today (one day to one week old) and the EE is not walking or perching at all, and her wings seem to droop a bit. Any ideas what is wrong with her? should I return her to the feed store and trade her in?

She was walking in the store, and she's drinking, but not eating.I don't know how a photo would help because she looks perfectly healthy, no deformed feet/legs or anything, she just sort of sits on her ankles instead of standing.

Trade her in? Serious?  sad.png

If she dies, sure. But what will become of her if you just "trade her in?"  If it was me, I'd do right by her and see how she does. Or list her on craigslist to someone willing to raise her.

It's just that to me, the life of a little chick (what, a few bucks?) is worth more than just trading it back in.

I'm trying to visualize what you mean by she sits on her ankles.  Is it possible that there is a break somewhere on her legs?
