MARYLAND THREAD!

Pics
I thought I would offer to you guys before I did on craigslist:

I have 3 wheaten ameraucana cockerels that I would love to find good homes for. I am willing to let them go for $5 each, but they were raised by a broody and haven't come anywhere close to puberty yet, so they're wanderers. I have 2 blue and one black. Beautiful birds from Paradise Found farms.

(I also have a gorgeous Easter Egger cockerel, a little older, sorry I don't have a picture.)

I live near Ocean City, where the water has just warmed up to comfortable swimming temp :)

I live in Washington Co. MD and have lots for sale if anyone is interested....

Point of lay mixed bantam cochin pullets $25

mixed bantam cochin boys $5

mixed turkey juvies (royal palm and bronze) $15 and 3+ months old

delaware and welsummer pullets from Whitmore lines $15 ea... boys $5 (3 months)

and freedom ranger chicks 5 wks. $7 a pop. (these are meat birds. They are enjoying their first day out in this pic. They are a little bigger now and will mature quickly to processing age at app. 12 wks.

Pip needs to find a new home because I can't keep roosters in our neighborhood. If you pick him up you can have him sit in your lap! He doesn't mind being cuddled and loved when by very small children. He would make a great 4H bird. He is a show quality bird hatched myself and handled regularly from an egg bought from Garry Farm with bloodlines from Aimee Crego. He is only 4 months old .

here is his baby picture!

Off to the DE State Fair today...husband wants to look at livestock, even though he tells me we can't get any more animals...

Thought I'd post this here in case anyone is interested. I have 2 bantam roosters looking for new homes - one is a Buff Brahma and the other is an OEG, I think? Would love for them to go together, they have been together since hatching and are very bonded. We purchased them as day-old chicks from the local TSC in late February, so they are about 5 months old now. They are friendly to humans and hens, but are too loud for our neighbors.

I live in southern MD, in Charles County. Please PM me if you are interested in them...

Hi I'm sort of new to the site and was wondering if there was a good place to buy or swap chickens near or in harford county, the popular swap in western Maryland is just too far away

Howdy! I've been on the lookout for a north/east md swap too ^^ Being technically Souther York County (only 2 miles from Harford Co. though!) I managed to go the sharpsburg, md swap this june, totally worth it! Looking forward to the september one! it's the 21st right? Can anyone confirm?
Well, if we can get one kinda going a little closer to harford Co, I'd be all about that! :D
