You have 2 hens mated together.

Pigeons only ever lay 2 - rarely 1 egg.  You must have 2 females lay in the same nest.  It will by a huge strain on the parents to raise 4 chicks.  You are best to remove 2 eggs.  If they are a female only bonded pair then you are best to remove all the eggs as they won't be fertilized.

However, if they are male and female, but another female sneaked her eggs in, that will be OK to leave 2 in there.

I actually had to do this a few times.  I raised quails for eggs, and I decided to try eating a pigeon egg.  It was delicious!  gig.gif

No there is a cock and the birds have breed before I guess a hen wanted the same nest I have seen two hens sitting and then only one cock sitting

pigeon ONLY lay two, not 4. Two birds are using the nest, it's that simple.

Sometimes 2 hens will lay in the same nest. If there is a cock involved, they will be fertile and all 3 birds can raise the babies. If there are just 2 hens, the eggs will not be fertile and the eggs wont hatch.

You don't have to hatch all the eggs if you already have enough pigeons.
